+-- about

ASCII is text art bookmarking.

It works the way FFFFOUND! did for images. You don’t post your own work — you collect things you find elsewhere on the internet. Every piece is quoted from its source, with a link back to where it came from.

There are no profiles, no comments and no follower counts — just a feed of characters, with a few related pieces suggested underneath each one.

The collection leans toward the odd: BBS-era ASCII, demoscene and warez logos, Usenet portraits, RTTY pictures. Not clip art.

Everything renders in your browser and the site is entirely static. Saves live in local storage — no tracking, no accounts, no uploads. Sources are listed here.
